Moving Self-Care from Policy to Practice: Insights from Trailblazing Countries
26 JULY 2022 | 9:00-10:30 EDT, 13:00-14:30 GMT, 16:00-15:30 EAT

Countries are advancing self-care policy and practice, many of whom are adapting and adopting the World Health Organization (WHO) Guideline on Self-Care Interventions for Health and Wellbeing (June 2021). One year after the release of updated guidance, what does national guideline development and implementation look like? How is the guideline accelerating access to self-care interventions, and where are improvements in policy, programing, and financing still needed? What questions and issues are implementers grappling with as guidelines roll out and scale up? As we mark International Self-Care Month, join the Self-Care Trailblazer Group (SCTG) for a special event to explore these questions and more.
