Webinar: Using online communities of practice to complement health research: Experiences from Healthcare Information For All, 1st February

Neil Pakenham-Walsh

Dear IBP network colleagues,

I would like to invite you to join us for a 1-hour webinar on 1st February at 1pm UK/London time:

Using online communities of practice to complement health research: Experiences from Healthcare Information For All

https://www.hifa.org/news/using-online-communities-practice-complement-health-research-experiences-healthcare-information

‘SUPPORT-SYSTEMS and mHealth-Innovate are two health systems research projects funded by the Research Council of Norway. This webinar will learn from the research projects’ experience with collaborating with HIFA and benefiting from HIFA’s vibrant online communities to inform their research processes. We will also learn from the perspective of participants who contributed to the discussions by sharing their experiential knowledge and reflecting critically on the questions posed by the research projects. These lessons can be valuable for future research projects that might also benefit from using online communities as a source of joint learning and knowledge generation.’

Meanwhile I would be very interested to learn from Comm Init whether other communities of practice have engaged stakeholders as part of a research project.

Please feel free to forward this to anyone who may be interested.

Many thanks, Neil
