Each year on December 12th, the world celebrates the International Universal Health Coverage (UHC) Day, an official UN-designated day, to raise awareness
of the need for strong, equitable and resilient health systems and universal health coverage. Leave
No One’s Health Behind: Invest in Health Systems for All is the theme for UHC Day 2021. To end this crisis and build a safer and healthier future, we must invest in health systems that protect us all — now. UHC Day Campaign on December 12, 2021
will mark 2 years since the first case of COVID-19 was reported.
This year Pathfinder is joining the global movement in celebration of this year’s UHC day by hosting a virtual webinar. The aim of the webinar is to celebrate the universal health coverage day and use it as an advocacy platform to host a multi-sectoral panel
to discuss the importance of UHC and the role of multi sectoral partnerships to achieving UHC in low- and middle-income countries. The webinar will host panelists from different regions to share experience on progress towards achieving UHC.
