The WHO Regional Office for Europe Nursing and Midwifery team, the European Forum of National Nurses and Midwives Associations (EFNNMA) and the European Federation of Nurses (EFN) invite nurses, midwives and policy makers to an interesting Webinar focusing on how progress toward the WHO Global Strategic Directions for Nursing and Midwifery will be measured and monitored. The plan also includes an evaluation framework for data collection and monitoring progress over a five year period from 2021 to 2025. National nursing and midwifery associations are critical stakeholders to be engaged in the measurement and monitoring process. The purpose of this webinar is to: - Raise awareness of the developmental goals for nursing and midwifery and how progress will be measured and monitored. - Identify National Health Workforce accounts and indicators as core elements to measure and monitor progress. - Present State of the Worlds Nursing Report and State of the Worlds Midwifery Report data for Europe as a benchmark for measuring progress - Present survey on how national nurses and midwives associations have been engaged in the data collection, monitoring and dialog process - Reflect on the role of national nurses and midwifery associations in the implementation of the GSDNM. o Who is driving the process in your country? o How is your national nurses and midwives association engaged in dialog with the national health authorities and the Government chief nursing and midwifery officer? o How can your NNA/NMA increase your impact on the process and be a force for progress? |
