The International Rescue Committee and USAID Partnership for Advancing Community-Based Services (PACS) project invite you to participate in a virtual event on Thursday, 9 July 9:00am-10:30am EDT. PACS, a five year project led by the International Rescue Committee in coordination with the Ministry of Health in Liberia, restored community-based health services after the Ebola epidemic and broadened capacity to implement community-based health services under the National Community Health Assistant Program (NCHAP). With speakers from the Ministry of Health in Liberia, Liberian civil society organizations, development, humanitarian, and donor agencies, along with representation from the private sector at the virtual table, we will unpack lessons from PACS, explore how these lessons learned post-Ebola response and during recovery can be applied to COVID-19 adaptations, and identify best practices for community health system strengthening for response and recovery. Register in advance for this event here or click the button below.
