An enabling policy environment is a prerequisite
for achieving Universal Health Coverage.

The SRHR Policy Portal provides users with data on national policies, strategies, laws and guidelinein the areas of sexual health, family planning, cervical cancer, STIs, infertility and violence against women, as well as cross-cutting issues, including the human right to healthcare, financial protection and quality of care.

Initiated by the SRH and MCA Departments of WHO,  this database targets stakeholders engaging in national policy dialogues.

The SRHR Policy Portal allows for tracking of country progress  in adopting WHO recommendations on RMNCAH policies, strategies and guidelines; and enables countries to independently research, understand, adapt and adopt evidence based polices in their own settings.
