Dear Colleagues,

Registration is open to enroll in the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (JHSPH) Summer Institute course, “Knowledge Management for Effective Global Health Programs.”

 

This acclaimed 3-credit course taught by Knowledge SUCCESS Project Director Tara Sullivan and Knowledge SUCCESS Deputy Project Director Sara Mazursky is offered through the JHSPH Summer Institute of Health, Behavior, and Society. Find information related to this course here.

 

Course Dates:    June 7 - June 11, 2021

Location:            Virtual

 

Course Description:

Knowledge management (KM), organizational learning (OL) and adaptive management in international development lead to better development programs. Upon successful completion of this 3-credit course, students will be able to:

  • ​​Define knowledge management and related principles
  • Explain challenges to implementing KM programs
  • Help determine the best KM approaches for real-life public health programs

Students will also join a global network of alumni who share experiences and resources related to using the learned KM and OL practices in their work. 

 

Registration ends in two weeks on May 31.  Current and returning JHSPH students may register on the JHSPH website; all others, please register at the general Johns Hopkins non-degree registration system, choosing "Summer Institute in Health Behavior and Society" from the dropdown menu).
