Subject: Endometriosis fact sheet now published

Dear colleagues,

WHO and the UNDP-UNFPA-UNICEF-WHO-World Bank Special Programme of Research, Development and Research Training in Human Reproduction (HRP) recognize the importance of endometriosis and its impact on people’s quality of life and well-being, and will work to help to make progress towards facilitating and supporting the adoption of effective policies and interventions to address endometriosis globally.

Following brief consultations, a new fact sheet on endometriosis has now been published. It can be accessed here: http://bit.ly/WHOEndometriosisFacts

Sincere thanks to all contributors that have taken part in developing the fact sheet. This is an important first step to help provide support related to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of this condition.

The endometriosis fact sheet is published in English at the following link: http://bit.ly/WHOEndometriosisFacts

Russian, Arabic, Spanish and Chinese versions to follow.

Please feel free to share with your networks, and please also see attached infographics for use on social media.
